Trails Scholarship

Recognizing your achievement. Supporting your next steps.

Established in 2000, the Trails Scholarship has provided more than $2 million in support to hundreds of Trails alumni. The scholarship is available to alumni pursuing post-secondary education, including college, university, graduate studies, trades programs, certificates, and micro-credentials that support career and life goals.

Each year, approximately 80 alumni receive Trails Scholarship support, with funding available across the fall, winter, and summer terms.

More Than Financial Support

The Trails Scholarship is about more than helping cover costs. Scholarship recipients also receive ongoing mentorship throughout the school year, designed to support the transition into post-secondary life through to graduation and beyond.

Through mentorship, alumni have space to:

  • Review transcripts and academic progress
  • Talk through course selection and budgeting decisions
  • Reflect on goals, successes, and challenges
  • Receive guidance during key transition moments

This combination of financial support and mentorship helps alumni stay focused, confident, and supported as they move forward.

Who can apply?

Completing the Four Seasons, Four Years Trails program is a significant achievement. It reflects commitment, resilience, growth, and leadership: qualities that deserve recognition.

The Trails Scholarship recognizes this accomplishment and affirms that our alumni are achievers. It is something you can be proud of and something that reflects your hard work, dedication, and success as you take your next steps in education and career.

The Trails Scholarship is available to eligible Trails alumni who are continuing their education or training beyond high school.

Testimonials

Lataveah C. Trails Alumnus,

“Through the generosity of Trails, I was able to receive support even after I graduated from the program. Mentorship helped me to mature and develop life skills and the Trails Scholarship allowed me to alleviate the financial burden of university, which meant I could spend more time focusing on my studies and being an active member of my community. I joined school clubs, volunteered and also became a mentor at Trails. I will be forever grateful for all that Trails and the scholarship have done for me.”
